“ The hazards of cycling in Oxford ”

Left it till very last minute on a trip into Oxford on Sunday with my youngest. As we were heading back for the bus, I stopped on the corner of Cornmarket and had another practise at panning.

This was my favourite of the ones I took - 3 for the price of 1!

I like this. She must have been moving pretty fast to get that much background blur at 1/30s. Some good areas of sharpness through the back wheel… more

I like this. She must have been moving pretty fast to get that much background blur at 1/30s. Some good areas of sharpness through the back wheel, sweatshirt, and hair. Pleasing background with some nice pops of color to add interest. I don't know that I'd change anything here.

Wow, excellent panning technique! The front biker is so crisp while the background is blurred but recognizable. Nicely done!
