Was just about to head up to bed when I suddenly remembered 52 Frames! I hadn't even taken the shot I was picturing, never mind submitted it...

So, my daughter and I headed out at 8.30pm armed with some Lume Cubes to provide a bit of light to showcase some new shoes she got this ...

Really striking! The shoes are amazing and I love the texture and colour of what she is standing on. I didn't notice the out of focus part of shoes until I read your comments, I don't mind it. Love the DOF and the composition is great.

I think I actually like it better with the toe out of focus. I love the reds and I really like the white stitching on the shoes. Great textures and colors in the ground and I like the hint of detail in the background. As much as I like this, I think I'd double down on the white and try to really make it pop on both the front and back shoes. Almost a florescent effect.

What a beautiful photo. Gorgeous colors! The fetching close-in, low-down angle gives importance to something we could otherwise overlook. Lovely shoes, too!
