“ Still caught in a web ”
Same leaf as last week's high key taken at a different time of day at a slightly different angle to get the darker background. No focus stack this week as there was no wind so it was easier to get the focus.

I really like this weeks image. I like the colours and the blue adds mystique and interest. Very clever to do the same for both weeks!

I was wondering if it was the same leaf when I saw the image.  I couldn't say which image I like better.  Both are good, just different.  You have some nice deep blacks there but I also like the mottled blues in the background.  I like the detail of the spiderwebs and once again you got some great detail in the leaf.  I really like how there are some blues to pick up the background.  I think a touch more depth of field would be nice, but with a 1/8s exposure, I wouldn't try focus stacking either.  These will be nice contrasting images in the album.

Great idea to use the same subject matter to contrast the different style of photography. Nicely done, Mairi!
