“ All About Time ”

Who knew that the sand stream of an egg timer wandered around. In order to capture the sand stream and the orifice I had to get the DOF up to 0.17 inches. Then I needed to stop the sand in mid stream! A shutter speed of 1/4000s was not enough, I had to go to High Speed Sync on the flash units ...

The primary light is suspended above the light box and the fill light (only providing a small fill) is 3 feet above and to the left.
