    The way the cormorant is lying flat, I almost wish the image were rotated 90 degrees.  But then I see the eggs and realize it's exactly the way it should be.  How exciting to see birds nesting in the wild! I don't know how common it is to find cormorant nests but it's still hard to find nests with eggs still in them. Your wife had a great idea!

    I just find it a little jarring that the rock on the right is so blurred compared to everything else but, I am guessing it was probably a bit removed from the nest rather than right next to it?
