Fun fact about myself: I have made my own backpacks for the last 12 years. These are the shoulder straps of the first one I made, back in summer 2012. I saw by hand from a piece of fabric my mom had lying around, and it lasted for almost 10 years, being repaired until the fabric was so worn out ...
