“ Moonrise Kingdom ”
I was visiting Moonrise Kingdom, a beautiful beach in Rhode Island, and watched a group of divers coming back in from a dive. Since it's not a scene I see every day, I thought it would make an interesting subject. It took a lot of courage on my end to ask the diving instructor if I could take a ...

Great subject, Yael, and congratulations for pushing yourself past your comfort zone!  I like the depth of field.  I do wish your subject's whole body were in focus, rather than his legs being a little blurry.  It's a well composed shot.  (Have you seen the movie?  If not, I highly recommend it.)

Great portrait to get the action.

It is hard to shoot in bright sunlight.

    The context is useful too.
