“ Life in the ruins ”

I visited an Roman era archeological city that displayed ancient stone and marble, as far as the eye can see. I was really struck by the bits of nature that bursted out of the 2000+ year cracks and brought life and color to the scene.

I am also always amazed at the way life springs forth in the harshest places. The new life with the ancient columns are beautiful.
