I had to google what is "Sour Patch Kids" :D. Love the colors and sugar crystal. To me, the photo looks like a bit underexposed and I would probably prefer a bit larger DOF. It is a great photo for the challenge, indeed a very different angle!

Good focus on the sugar crystals, and a nice depth of focus. I can't tell whether the shadowy stuff at the top of the photo is empty space or more candy; I think I would have preferred the shot if you had cropped that out, so the entire background was bright colors. There's some odd shadowing on the upper part of the blue candy, too. All the colors here make this photo attractive and appealing.

I like the bright vibrant colors of the candy. I might have shot a a little bit different angle, to show the "kid shape" of the candies. Nice focus and lighting, you have captured the texture of the sugar coating very well. I love macro shots!

The blue has a nice jewel tone effect. I might have cropped the top and bottom some to focus on the interesting shapes and colors. It also gives it less of a shot on the phone look (I do all my shooting on the phone so no problem with it)
