“ Nostalgia ”

This challenge was a chance for a little bit of nostalgia for me. About 80 years ago my father made a little trinket box – the kind you put on a dresser to store little personal things – other than the lid it is quite plain. I love the inlays which show a variety of different wood.

The wood looks so nice and warm, he did a great job! It is pretty special to have this. I like the lay flat idea with the lid at the centre, it makes my eyes wander… more
