“ SnowFlake Decoration ”
I had a new technique I wanted to try this week but ran out of time. So here's a simple snowflake decoration from my home. (Clearly, I have much to learn about B&W photography)

I really appreciate the shape you chose to capture. I like the detail of it. Good framing too. Seems like I’ve had the best luck with shots like this using a tripod and a longer exposure to lower the ISO...but that’s probably something you already have heard. Good work!

That's very simple and effective. I like the way you've placed the star on the third line. I wonder why you chose to use f16, as it has forced your ISO up very high. However, such a small aperture has resulted in lots of lovely detail, especially in the tinsel. Balancing exposure of dark "foliage" and the white star can be tricky, and I wonder if you could have taken it down a notch, as the star is the "star" of the frame? I like the curves of the tinsel leading to the star, and the fact that your subject is very seasonal! Merry Christmas.
