I was on my way back to Omaha after a day trip to the National Homestead Monument near Beatrice, NE and I saw these giant soft clouds stretching across the sky.

    This photo takes me to the wide open space I crave! I love it. It's like you can see forever and almost feel the storm rolling in.

    I love the sense of space in this, Barry. The eye really goes to the sky, which is definitely the star of the show here. Your whites are very white, but there is plenty of detail in the clouds. I also like the complementary colours of the yellowish land with the blue sky, and the wide crop. (I'm curious: were you in a moving vehicle? There is what I think is movement blur in the closest foreground. Not a criticism, or a downside - just me being nosy and wondering whether I've identified that correctly!)
