“ Outdoor Lighting ”

I had to do a quick one this week, so this is the light on the garage of my house. I took it at night with my cell phone. Surprisingly I kind of like it. For some reason it has a spooky, old graveyard-kind of feel to me.

Nice choice of black and white to go with the gothic-like lantern. It brings out the texture of the bricks very nicely.

Nice choice of black and white to go with the gothic-like lantern. It brings out the texture of the bricks very nicely.

The vertical lines between the bricks are ofset from row to row. This makes the lantern visually appear crooked or offcenter and I had to measure to make sure it really was in the center. Optical illusion!

I think 1313 Mockingbird Lane may have found it's next-door neighbor!
