“ Refueling ”

I’ve worked everyday since the beginning of the year. I decided to take an short break and take some “me” time. I live a short distance from Lake Michigan, it was cold, snowing and windy. Lake Michigan is magnificent.

Nicely composed, with the water taking up the right two-thirds of the photo, and the land the other third. The colors are lovely. Two things bother me, though. One… more

Nicely composed, with the water taking up the right two-thirds of the photo, and the land the other third. The colors are lovely. Two things bother me, though. One, the shot seems tilted slightly down toward the left. The second is that my eye goes not first to the water, but to that very well in-focus small tree or bush over on the left side of the frame. Since the theme for the week is water, I really wanted the focus to draw my eyes to the water, not something on shore.
