“ Survival ”

Heat, sand, wind - this little plant has to face it all in the desert to have a chance of surviving. Just look at how it's pretty much grown sideways thanks to the wind.

My Tamron 50-400 has a 1:2 magnification at 50mm, so although this is might be more of an "environmental macro" ...

I like this one a lot, you have really nice focus on the plant and the blurriness of the sand really adds to the focal point. I also really like the shadows. I have to… more
