This was 90% trying to figure out how to use the different selection functions in Photoshop, 10% applying the motion blur to the background.

    Beautiful subject, and tack sharp!

    I like the blurred background, perhaps next time you play with it you might try decreasing the contrast between lights and darks in the background. I feel the contrast took my eye off the gorgeous subject.

    I find photoshop really difficult to learn, so kudos to you for working through it!
