“ Ceramic ”

I tried experimenting with DoF in my backyard with my 400mm lens and natural light. It's a bit different for me....and I thought this was fun. Normally speaking I like taking photos of people with lights/speedlights.

This is very nice, what I like most is how the very nice blurry background has the same colors of the bowl, nice framing too splitting the image into two parts :)

I really, really like this Brad! The bowl is spectacular! The focus and DOF are so nice! My only comment is that I might try either cropping down from the top more… more

I really, really like this Brad! The bowl is spectacular! The focus and DOF are so nice! My only comment is that I might try either cropping down from the top more (removing the rim) or give it more space at the top. It feels a bit cramped there. Nicely done outside your comfort zone!
