“ Lichen or Knot! ”

The temperatures and lack of snow had me hoping that I could find Mother Nature showing signs of new growth, perfect for a depth of field subject. Unfortunately that turned out not to be the case. However, this little section of tree with it's orange and gray-green lichen, provided inspiration.
