“ Orange Splash ”

I liked this fungus fighting to grow on solid concrete. It caught my eye because it was such a bright spot of color in all the dark grey

I like the color contrast and giving the lichen room to grow. It is clearly a healthy lichen, may be growing in a difficult environment, like asphalt. Great texture too… more

The good clean sharp focus on the lichen allows my eye to take in the color. Great job doing what you like to do - get close to your subject.
