“ A Banded Peacock Butterfly (!) (Anartia fatima) ”

Who named this butterfly, anyway?! Made a special 8-hour trip to Guatemala City but could not find anyone who could repair my camera and no one had one I would/could buy! Sooo, I am gaining tremendous admiration for those in the group who always use their cellphone. Took me 98 tries to get one ...

Nice focus the butterfly is nice sharp.

Maybe if your angle was from below the butterfly it would catch the theme even… more

However you're already down in the weeds and are pretty low as it is. Awesome shot.
