“ Victorian times ”

This is a repurposed post box from the reign of Queen Victoria in Moate, a small town in the Irish midlands. I took the photo at dusk and I love the way the colours rendered. It would originally have been red but was painted green at the foundation of the Irish Republic 100 years ago
