I got into astronomy 9 years ago. The excitement it gave me it quickly moved me onto astrophotography. It is a big step up from planetary imaging with a webcam device to capturing deep sky objects (nebulae and galaxies) and it was seeing the images of the Great Orion Nebula like this that ...

This is a beautiful shot, I love astrophotography and, although I've got a telescope, I've never tried it myself.
