“ Succulent ”

The succulent on our veranda gets more interesting the closer you get. I realised that the trick was picking a focal point, and apertures that were too broad through most of the detail away. So I settled on f/4 here, trying to get depth, detail and focal area. What would you have done?

Lovely image. I have lens extensions I use to get macro shots of stuff I find interesting. They are about $40 from amazon. This is a great way to also learn more about… more
