I had another, less inspired, idea for this week. I spotted this little guy and changed my subject for the week. Every now and then I get these little snails on the side of my house near my front stoop. This tiny guy's shell was only about 1/2 inch across, so I used a 10x close up lens ...

Lovely shot! I love the depth of field and I think your crop works great. We have these around our house too and my daughters are always on the search for them. :)
