Couldn’t find a suitable human for a portrait this week, so I chose the cat. Here he is enjoying the sun, sitting amongst the leaves.

You did right. The challenge was "portrait", not "portrait of a human". It seems, like the cat tries to hide in the leaves. Nice lights and shadows.
