“ Winter’s Touch ”

We had a big snowstorm this week, blanketing the trees and ground. Up to this point, we were enjoying a beautiful fall but it all came to an abrupt halt on Tuesday! It really did make for some beautiful photo ops, though!

Sometimes natural conditions work against us for challenges, but occasionally they are beneficial. Congrats on making the most of the sudden snow. I very much like your choice of subject and composition. I find your use of shallow DOF also works really well, a soft story telling bit not distracting background. For me though the main subjects are too bright and over exposed. I would look to desaturate the berries, a little, and take some of the highlight away from the snow. Happy framing..
