Golden Hour as all of us found out is dependent on weather, but On my last photo walk of the week this little varmint decided a face-off was necessary. Time just enough to set a shot and leave. I like making new friends

    I can definitely see the warm colours of golden hour in this, and the long rays of light on the ground. I think the squirrel is not in focus, which is a shame. Perhaps increasing your ISO would allow for a wider DoF and/or faster shutter speed. (People are afraid of high ISO's but modern cameras are much better in low light than the old ones were.) I like that he's right in the corner, and that the frame is balanced with the tree trunks in the two top corners.
