“ Daffodil ”

On Monday, we had some brief afternoon sun. It has been overcast since then, with some ice and snow, even here in central Texas! I went out and got a quick smartphone sort of this daffodil while there was some sun on it.

What a wonderfully perky subject for golden hour. The detail in the petals shows up so nicely, and the house in the background gives it a down-home setting.
