“ Poinsettia ”

We have a poinsettia plant that has somehow survived from two or three Christmas's ago. I set it up in strong sunlight with a lot of open space behind it. I composed the image to leave a lot of dark area. This negative space gives it a stark look and emphasizes the bursts of red.
