I was attracted to the softness of the wave splashing against the hard sharp rocks and thought it looked like a good juxtaposition. The photo was taken with a 6 stop filter to slow the shutter speed

    This is an unusual view and shutter speed to shoot water like this.  It's very effective popping above the shore as it does.
