    Very cool technique Fran! I have to try this, and thanks for sharing it! This is one totally cool image and yes, the instant I saw it I thought of playing with the Kaleidoscope when I was a kid and loved it! BTW, congrats on being featured on the Patron screencast for 52frames!

    I am not sure about the complexity of this but it is very effective. When I do recall a kaleidoscope, I think of it in 3D rather than as a two-dimensional flat surface. As a Triple Bonus Point issue, creating the look of 3D would have been fantastic.
