“ Red Rose ”

My wife grows this rose in our backyard. When looking for subjects for this weeks challenge Mother Nature handed me this.

What a beautiful rose! I like your choice to shoot it straight on and almost fill the frame. The square crop works well.

Great rose shot. The colour of the red is perfect, looking natural and not overpowering. Slight shred might be to darken the green or take the highlights down slightly… more
