With 50mm, I had to look for the big details such as architectural elements or construction equipment. But when I was out early Saturday morning, the firehouse was also up go through their checklists of things, so I asked if I could snap a few shots of the truck that they just finished cleaning ...

Wow, so much to look at here. All the detail that goes into what I imagine those firefighters think of as routine. Nicely done, and great symmetry as well.

This was a good catch for a quick photo Howard. There are lots of details, and you have a nice sharp focus o all the dials. I tend to shoot at a low f stop too… more
