Wow that is a sad story Magdalena... I am very sorry to hear about that. Roses are indeed beautiful but they can be painful too, kind of a metaphor of life, I guess! I like the composition. For shreds, it isnt entirely sharp, it seems like the rose isn't in focus. Keep telling your stories!

Such a moving story and I am sorry to hear you are estranged from your father; I hope you have the opportunity to reconnect with him. The beautiful leading lines of this rose guiding the eye to the centre are a wonderful metaphor. My one minor CC is that there is a spot of white light just to the lower left of centre but otherwise, this is a lovely example of leading lines, especially illustrating that they don't always need to be straight ?
