I had a refreshing little 2-day holiday outside the city this week and although it was a bit misty (October in the UK!), I thought it gave this little town of Bath a lovely glow. I noticed all the colours in this old wall and was getting closer to take a shot if the details when this runner ...

This photo has such a nice rhythm to it. The repetition of the doors, the stones, and the rhythm of the runner's footfalls. I also like the movement from dark on the left to light on the right, with the eyes moving along to glow of the leaves, the runner, and the bright pop of her laces.

I love the brick texture on the wall and ground. And the color of the moss that has grown on the meeting point is a bonus. I don't know that the blue of the door stood out to me until I read your caption. But after I read that, I can see it.

I love Bath and it's a great place for walls made of stone. Really well composed shot despite having to change your plan at the last minute. Well done, I really like it.
