“ A fleeting moment ”

I love the open challenges like this one as they allow me to just shot instinctively during my walks rather than try to plan for a specific theme. I was pleased with the variety of shots I got this week and this was one of my favourites. A fleeting moment.

This feels cinematic, Julie, there’s a story here. Like the bird is an omen.
I love how the bird is blurred and the rest of the shot is crisp. Lucky timing too capturing the woman looking in the same direction as the bird flying. Bnw was a good choice, especially like how the grey of the steeple is light and almost transparent

The flight of the bird is incredible. The blur signals motion. I also really like the leading lines back to the just off center spire and walking woman in the foreground on the same side. Really cool, and the b&w is perfect.
