“ Whatever hour you woke there was a door shutting ”
For some time I have wanted to take a series of images which are influenced by David Lowery's movie 'A Ghost Story'. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.

Sadly, I was (again) running short on time this week, so didn't get chance to experiment with the shot. I set the ...

I love that you've embraced the grain, although for a low light shot I might offer the suggestion to tone the grain down *juuuust* a little, so it doesn't get mistaken for image noise :-) But love love love the colour palette and desaturated tones, and the whole vibe of the image is just fab! :-)

Oooohh that's some scary shot right there, Ashley! I'm not sure what settings you used (in terms of aperture and shutter speed), but I wonder if a longer exposure could have allowed you to lower the iso value. This image is quite grainy because you have a lot of dark areas, which is where high iso manifests the most. Ooh, what about this photo in black and white? There, the graininess might enhance the feeling that it's kind of an 'old movie' shot! Anyway, really love the idea and originality when it comes to the theme! Well done!
