“ Mama Bird ”

We have a pair of house finches nesting right outside my front window. To take this picture I took out the screen from the window and shot through the glass. I just love watching them both and although the male is flashier, I couldn't resist the simplicity of this shot with the female sitting ...

I love this little dude! This is one of my favorites because he matches the colors of the branches...very subtle! Great shot!
