When my husband visits the Great Lakes, he makes an inukshuk (a human figure, usually made out of stacked stones) as a little memorial to his father, who loved Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He made this one on Lake Superior's Misery Bay, one of the places he helped scatter his dad's ashes. ...
