“ The thorns without the rose! ”

I went to visit The Community Rose Garden in the neighboring town and as I was taking photos of the beautiful roses these red thorns struck me as an alternate subject than the red rose above the thorns! I liked the simplicity of this image as well. So I chose this image for this week's challenge.
