My swim group goes into the lake all year long. The morning temps have dropped into the 30's and the water temp into the 50's. That's when I call it quits. They all have learned from doing this over the years what to bring out to quickly warm up again.

    Aaaaah, way too cold. I would need a wet suit or maybe even dry suit :) I like the story this tells.

    Very cool that your swim group is still able to swim, even in the colder times of the year.   I’m sure you have to build your body up to do that.
