I'm not ashamed to admit that I was locked in the pursuit of gaining attention and got sucked into the like engine of social media. I guess to an extent I still am. I'm trapped in a cycle of approval from others, starved for attention and recognition.

    Excellent photo and lots of good food for thought regarding social media. It's definitely a double-edged sword and it's easy to cut oneself on the wrong edge.

    I like your interpretation of the theme Devon, the social media trap is one that oddly I've found easier to avoid as lockdowns continue and we are forced to use our devices so much. It's really easy to get trapped looking for likes. Also, I thought you had moved because the view out your window had changed! Nice edit ?

    Our modern social media and current pandemic lockdowns have deprived us of that "in person" recognition that we used to get in day to day life.  I've noticed that sometimes I chase the approval counts myself, looking for the validation that is harder to find today.  This great image captures that well.
