I am a huge animal lover and love focusing my camera on my pets. This photo is not one of my pets though. For this assignment I wanted to wander my hometown where I grew up for the extra credit and found a variety of beautiful options against the gorgeous blue sky. I settled on this bronze ...

I love the expression. The black? of the dog against the blue sky is lovely, especially since the blue seems to be reflected in his head. Nice use of a pretty colored… more

A beautiful statue and I like how you've managed to capture it against the lovely blue sky which also seems to reflect from the dog's head. Nice shot, I'd perhaps have lowered the dog a little to put his head on the 'thirds' crosshairs and this would also have made the negative space more expansive. Good thinking though.
